Florida Vacation

We just got back from Florida yesterday. My family stayed in my grandma's apartment. It was so close to the beach! I brought back a lot of shells that I collected so if you see me I'll show them to you. We went to the pool in the back of the building every single day! The pool was shaped like a whale. The restaurants that we went to were, a vegetarian restaurant called Restaurant, a hummus place called Hummus and a pizza/gelato place. (We went to the pizza/gelato place twice!) I had a great time in Florida!

The Duck and the Lemonade Stand

Another recommendation for YouTube if you are willing. Go on YouTube and type in The Duck Song. The one that you're looking for should look like it was drawn like a kid did it. ( A kid acutely did do it.) Here is a picture if you don't know what I'm talking about. Now hurry along to YouTube!!!!!

Charlie Bit my Finger

I went on YouTube and typed in Charlie Bit my Finger and here is what the kid does when Charlie bites his finger. If you go on YouTube and look for this video I think you will find it very funny.

Girl Scout Trip

On this Friday a lot of girls from my girl scout troop are going to Splash Lagoon.(Including me!) Were using some of the girl scout money to afford to go. The newest girl scouts pay $50 to go, and the older girl scouts $25. I can't wait to go to Splash Lagoon!!!

New York City

Last Thursday my family went to NYC. We went to see my cousin star in her school play Evita, Metropolitan Museum of Art, F-A-O Schwartz (a toy store in NYC) and Dylan's Candy Bar. For lunch we went to The Candle Cafe. I would highly recommend these places if you ever go to New York City.

Things I want for my brother

1. A lifetime supply of Legos and Lego sets whatever he wanted.
2. A TV.
3. Some candy and soda in his room.
4. A secret passage that leads to a secret fort where his friends and him can hang out.
5. Free everything at Toys-R-Us.
6. His own cellphone.
7. A lifetime supply of K'nex.
8. A laptop.
9. His own bathroom.
10. No more schoolwork.
11. And an invisible army to fight of his enemies.

Things I want

1. First I would want a TV.
2. A laptop of my own.
3. A fireplace.
4. My own bathroom connected to my room.
5. I would want a candy bar and a soda fountain.
6. A huge lock to keep my brother out somtimes.
7. A sound proof room to keep my brothers voice out of the way.
8. A jail to put my brother in.
9. Queen sized bunkbeds.
10. A humongo hot tub.
11. And a cellphone.

Glass Museum

Today my family and I are going to a glass museum. We are going to see lots of glass sculptures and figures. We'll even get to blow our own glass. (That means we get to make our own sculptures.) My brother and I are making pumpkin ornaments when its our turn. I still have to eat, brush my hair and get ready for sign language and art. Bye!

Sunday School

I'm Jewish so I go to a temple. My temple is called Temple Sinai. I'm in fourth grade so I have to go to Hebrew school twice a week. On Sundays and on Wednesdays. I have a different teacher on Sunday than on Wednesday. At Hebrew school we read some stories write what we think about it and discuss it. We do projects that involve learning and also learn Hebrew. This is what my Temple looks like. It is so fun to go to Hebrew school!

Homeschooling

Today in homeschooling My dad taught us about Opinions, Observations, Inference and Classification. We looked at pictures from a magazine and tried to describe the picture. An Observation is when you look at the picture and see things you know you see. An Inference is when you look at the picture and you think you see something but your not sure if it's what you think you see. And an Opinion is your personal likes and dis-likes. Classification in when you sort things in groups. You can group things by almost anything from color to what the things are made of. So I look forward to sharing more things I do in homeschooling!!!

The drive-in movie

So my Aunt, Both cousins, My older cousins friend, My brother and I went to a drive-in last night. We went to see the movie UP. Since UP didn't start until later we sat down in our lawn chairs outside and watched Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs. When UP came on we still sat down and watched. Not so far into the movie my cousin saw a white stripe under her chair. She said to us," Don't make any sudden movements. There's a skunk." But her friend jumps up, screams and runs to get inside the car. The skunk on the other hand go's right for the left over cheese pizza. He didn't care about any thing but the pizza. But at least the movie we saw didn't stink!!!!

Hawaii

My cousins and aunt just came back from Hawaii last night. They lived in Hawaii for a year and came back to live here for awhile. They had to take 2 planes!! Their plane was a little late so they came in at 10:20. My cousin's little brother loves this toy car in my basement. I'm so glad that their back!!

My cat

My cat is big, kind of fat and always hungry. His name is Marshall. His food is his BEST FRIEND EVER!!! When we are on vacation it is like a treat to him because we leave like 3 boxes of food laying around.He is always hiding so DON'T even bother to look for him. Usually he downstairs in the basement in this little hideout. Oh, and by the way these kittens do not look a bit like my cat.

Tennis

I just came from my first group tennis lesson. It was fun... but I prefer private lessons

Homeschooling Stuff

I'm getting homeschooled!!! My mom and dad said that my brother and I get to choose what we want to learn about, then we get to teach ourselves. This is our first year of homeschooling so I'm really excited. I'm going to have a great time.

Just Another Post

For any age I request Little House on the Prairie. This is a series of books and movies. The main characters includs Laura Ingalls, Mary Ingalls, Carrie Ingalls, Caroline Ingalls, Charles Ingalls, Grace Ingalls, Mr.Edwards, Nellie Olsen, Willie Olsen, Mrs. and Mr. Olsen to name a few. I highly reccomend this series to anyone thats able to read on their own.

This book is about 2 best friends and how 1 of them moves away and how the other girl makes friends with someone else. She loses this best friend too. She tries to make their friendship last. I really enjoyed this book and I hope lots of others will too.

Pollyanna

This is a book reveiw on a book called Pollyanna. Its about a girl whos mother and father passed away and how she goes to live with her aunt. Pollyanna is a very bright young girl who is very active. Her aunt is the complete oppisite. She is very strict, mean and thinks that Pollyanna is a stupid name for a child. Read this book to see what happens with Pollyanna, Aunt Polly and all of her friends.

zzzzzzzzz

Sometimes things can bore you. My advice is to not let your boredom get in the way of the things you like to do, but also try to get interested in the thing that bores you. this may help to build new intrests. Follow this advice and you'll be living a very fun life.

Dear dairy

I can't wait 'till homeschool. It is 4 ,16, 54 weeks away? I guess I need to work on my numbers!!! Just kidding Mom and Dad!!!

Agenda For Today

First I am going to go to get a baby shower gift for my mom's stepsister. Then my family is going to the shower. After that I might have to try chorus for my Hebrew school (even though I don't want to.) This evening my family and some of our friends are doing a poetry night ,where everyone has to write and read a poem. So thats what I'm doing today!!!!!

Lockport cave

We went to the Lockport cave today. You take a nice little path then we came in front of a huge pipe like thing. It had a little door to get inside. We walked for awhile while the guide talked. Then we stopped and got into a boat. Since it was a cave there were drops of water from the ceiling and we got soaked! Well it was fun blogging!
